Editing

In this lesson my group and I continued editing our music videos. This time we worked on the second repeat of the chorus. This is because the chorus requires more work as we never had a definite idea for the chorus. For this chorus we decided to use the moment with the shadows. By this I mean we changed the scale of four different clips so that one clip would take up a quarter of the screen and the portions were intended to be equal. However, this alone appeared to be a boring shot, so we added to it by removing one clip in the upper right quadrant and altered the opacity of one clip to get an overlay of two clips in the upper right quadrant. This effect proved effective and made the chorus a better shot as it had more things going on in the shot, it included more interesting mise-en-scene.
